Chelsea Needham, PT, DPT
Chelsea was born and raised in a suburb of Buffalo, New York. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Siena College in Albany, NY. Chelsea then attended physical therapy school at Daemen College, graduating with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree in 2018. After graduation, Chelsea worked at a hospital in Buffalo before beginning her journey as a travel PT with her best friend and fellow ECPT therapist, Elysia. Prior to accepting a full-time position in Alaska, Chelsea worked as a physical therapist in New York, Mississippi and Arizona.
When she’s not in the clinic, Chelsea loves to spend time outdoors - running, hiking, or skiing. She has run 5 full marathons and plans to run many more in the near future. When she’s not out exploring Alaska, Chelsea can usually be found with Elysia traveling to National Parks all over the United States as well as traveling internationally to experience other countries and cultures.
Chelsea is certified in Functional Movement Techniques through RockTapeâ, including kinesiology taping and tool-assisted soft tissue mobilization. She is also a pelvic floor physical therapy specialist, educated through The Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute. In addition, Chelsea has received her dry needling certification which she uses in clinic to treat a multitude of orthopedic conditions.
